Valentia Technologies releases of Version 2.0 of Major Incident Alert system (MIA™) for Healthcare and Emergency Services

Valentia Technologies today announced the release of Version 2.0 of MIA™, its mobile messaging Major Incident Alert system for Healthcare and Emergency Services.

MIA™ has been specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements for mobile messaging of healthcare and emergency services staff in cases of major incidents and emergencies.

MIA™ facilitates creation of online databases of staff and other key individuals to capture relevant data, including contact details and job skills. In cases of emergencies, designated controllers can quickly alert relevant staff using automated SMS messaging features to request their attendance in their workplace or other specified location.

MIA™ features the extensive use of messaging templates, allowing administrators to pre-populate the system with multiple message formats that can be quickly accessed for broadcast purposes in cases of alerts. Alternatively, messages can also be composed in real time. MIA uses sophisticated reply-path techniques to provide controllers with rapid views of staff details who have responded to the emergency call.
