Valentia Technologies presents CareMonX™ EMS Suite at official Irish launch of Windows Vista

Valentia Technologies today presented Vista-enabled features of its CareMonX™ EMS Suite at the official Irish launch of Windows Vista in Croke Park.

CareMonX™ EMS Suite is an advanced Enterprise Management System designed for the demanding requirements of modern pre-hospital emergency care. It encompasses a wide range of functionality for the operation of Emergency Medical Services, including real-time patient and incident data collection and transmission, incident reporting and management of fleet inventory and staff work schedules. At the core of the CareMonX™ EMS Suite is the CareMonX™ ePCR Module, which enables mobile electronic data capture and transmission. It is one of the most sophisticated solutions currently available, offering real-time communications between emergency services, ambulances, paramedics and hospital emergency departments over standard public cellular networks and TETRA networks.

Addressing an invited audience at the Windows Vista launch event, Valentia Technologies Chief Executive Officer, Peter Nelson and Chief Operating Officer, Dr Ahmed Javad, demonstrated how Valentia Technologies had integrated Windows Vista-era technologies to develop a new proof of concept for their current Windows XP CareMonX ePCR module. Running Windows Vista on mobile Tablet PCs offers Valentia Technologies further benefits for the CareMonX ePCR module, including improvements to security, reliability, and management. Valentia's developers have used the .NET Framework version 3.0 to visualise and report emergency care information in much richer ways, including its workflow integration and user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI), with its transparency and capability for 3D Visualisation. And innovative features of Windows Vista enable Valentia Technologies to provide even more secure up-to-date information to in-field paramedics.
