Valentia Technologies today warmly congratulated Western Cape EMS on completing its first 100,000 electronic records in CareMonX Electronic Patient Care Reporting (ePCR) system.

Implemented as part of Valentia’s full CareMonX EMS suite in Western Cape, CareMonX ePCR enables ambulance crews to digitally record care interventions in real time and transmit care records to destination locations. The electronic care records also provide valuable clinical and operational information to the EMS Service and Western Cape DoH.

Welcoming the announcement by Western Cape EMS, Valentia’s President – Technical Services, Dr Ahmad Javad, stated: “The implementation and roll-out of CareMonX ePCR by Western Cape EMS was exemplary and their completion of 100,000 records is a testament to their commitment to service excellence for the benefit of patients as well as clinical and operational staff. Valentia is excited about the many clinical and operational benefits which CareMonX ePCR presents to Western Cape EMS and we looks forward to working closely with the Service as it leverages these.”
